Stress Awareness Event
National Stress Awareness Week commenced last Monday 04th November, so to show our support, raise awareness and offer assistance to the local business community, we arranged for a Stress Awareness Drop-In event to take place at Oxford City Football Club on Thursday 07th November, sponsored by Natwest and Oxford City FC.
It also promoted a better understanding of Mental Health, specifically of Stress within the workplace, whilst providing the local business community with a group of experienced Wellbeing professionals, who were on hand to guide and advise on specific queries, questions and concerns that they had. A massive thanks goes to the following Wellbeing Professionals who supported us with this event and gave up their time to be available on the day, they were;
- Howard Feather – Natwest
- Lisa Lloyd – It’s Time For Change
- Judy Claughton – Balance Time
- Janice Nicholls – Seasons of Change
- Natalie Lockyer – Natalie Lockyer Coaching
Workplace Mental Health does not have to be expensive or consist of complicated strategies, employees themselves can have a profound positive impact on reducing poor Mental Health, through simply taking better care of their own Wellbeing. We cannot highlight enough the importance of Engagement, at every level, Education and Planning, prior to investing into Mental Health courses, workshops and strategies.
It was a free to attend event, with Oxford City FC, Natwest and ourselves covering expenses, though we did ask for attendees to make a nominal donation, to raise money for Oxford based charity – SeeSaw, which has seen us raise £220 and is a wonderful bonus in addition to achieving the aims of the day and building relationships with the community.
That’s Oxfordshire TV reported on the event, which can be seen below, then if you have any questions or wish to make use of our complimentary consultations for a limited period of time, then CLICK HERE;Tags: mental health, NSAD19, stress, Stress Awareness Week
